Lusaka, Zambia – The Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) has elected a new leadership team, with renowned artist Brian Bwembya, popularly known as B’Flow, taking the reins as the new chairperson
According to a statement issued by the newly sworn-in Publicity Secretary, Edmond Miti (alias Cray J), B’Flow assured musicians that the time for politics and games was over. “It is now time to work and deliver on the promises made during the nearly two-month campaign period,” he declared.
B’Flow emphasized the need for unity within the association, calling on all musicians to stand together in fostering the industry’s growth and development. He extended an open invitation to those who had distanced themselves from ZAM, encouraging dialogue and collective efforts to bring meaningful change.
The newly elected ZAM National Executive Committee includes:
- Chairperson: Brian Bwembya (B’Flow)
- Vice Chairperson: Yahya Kaba (KB)
- Secretary General: Chomba Lesa
- Deputy General Secretary: Monica Kasonde
- Publicity Secretary: Edmond Mbanga Miti
- Treasurer: Mwalimu Henry Salimu
- Projects Secretary: Kelvin Mwesa
- Research and Development Secretary: Gabriel Phiri
